About Us
Grameen Foundation India is looking for a Video Editor and Graphic Designer. The selected candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that is suitable for broadcasting on various platforms including but not limited to youtube, website, linkedin, and facebook. This will include selecting and synchronizing footage, as well as editing and dubbing audio tracks, color grading and special effects etc. The candidate will also be responsible for creating visual concepts, using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. This will include designing logos, brochures, websites, posters, exhibitions, corporate identity, packaging, and advertising.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum two years of work experience in Graphic Designing and Video Editing
- Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
- Strong understanding of video production, including lighting, sound, and storytelling
- Should have knowledge of video codecs, resolution, and file formats
- Knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Strong understanding of design principles such as typography, color theory, and composition
- Should have knowledge of printing processes and file preparation for different mediums
- Strong communication and project management skills
Essential Job Functions (Deliverable with specific timeline):
1. Responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that is suitable for broadcasting or distribution. This will involve editing footage, sound, and special effects to create a cohesive, polished final product.
- Importing and organizing footage
- Cutting and editing video and audio
- Adding special effects, music, and sound effects
- Color grading and color correction
- Exporting and rendering the final product
- Incorporating feedback provided by reporting manager and communications team
2. Responsible for creating visual concepts, using computer software to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers
- Meeting with Project Director to determine the scope of a project
- Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites
- Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
- Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief
- Reviewing final layouts and finalize the products as per feedback from reporting manager and communications team
- Reporting and relationships: The position reports to the Project Director
