Farmers for Forests (F4F)

Farmers for Forests (F4F) is a hybrid social enterprise that works on protecting and restoring forest cover in very close collaboration with rural communities. 

We financially support farmers to protect existing forests and grow new ones on rural wasteland or degraded forest land. We want to make biodiverse forests financially viable for communities through the use of a blended finance model that relies on philanthropy, government scheme, carbon revenue and sustainbly harvested forest produce. 

We are bringing the Payments for Ecosystem Services (PES) model to the Indian forestry sector.
