The opportunity

 

The Associate Consultant will be an integral part of the Corporate Sustainability Business Unit team working on the Design Impact Awards (DIA)- a social initiative by Titan. In this role, you will be working hand in hand with the team in problem solving, working with multiple stakeholders, and contributing to implementation and delivery of the Design Impact Awards Program. The program is focussed on engaging with entrepreneurs with innovative products and services to solve complex social problems. 

In addition, the following will be the key responsibilities:

  • Coordination and communication between onboarded outreach partners, workshop coordinators and the client. 

    • Engage with stakeholders proactively through predictable delivery and effective communication. 

  • Supporting the team in project management and delivery by sharing relevant information and updates on deliverables proactively with the team 

    • Support the operations of the project/ program, including managing logistics and coordinating with multiple teams

    • Creating reports, tools to inform the effectiveness of the project, on-ground efforts

    • Deliver high quality documents consistently and work with the team to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables 

 
 
  • Support in documentation of learnings and potentially creation of reusable knowledge from the project

  • Management of the DIA Application process to ensure the flow of information and tech platform integration is seamless

  • Anchor Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tracks with all the partners which would involve doing due diligence, co-creating LFA and field visits

  • Go beyond own deliverables to support others in the team or the larger organization where required

  • Work smoothly with with peers and managers and is able to receive constructive feedback well

  • A minimum of 2+ years of project and stakeholder management experience ( preferable if in the social sector)

  • An understanding  of  the  roles  of  various stakeholders in the development landscape (government, academia, international institutions, foundations, non-profit and corporate organizations)

  • Knowledge of the startups and innovation ecosystem will be preferable

  • Working knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) frameworks 

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment as part of a closely-knit  team  

  • Background working with entrepreneurs / social innovation programs (incubators / starts up etc) 

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details

  • Highly effective interpersonal skills

  • Self-driven personality with the ability to work independently
