About SAMARTH Fellowship Program: The SAMARTH Fellowship is a 9-month self-leadership program aimed at enhancing the capacities of Indian youth to enter social development spaces through entry-level jobs and prestigious fellowships in India. The program will equip young individuals with awareness, knowledge, skills, and a growth mindset to meet the demands of the ever-growing and complex development sector. The program encourages youths to become part of experiential learning offered by 200+ prestigious Fellowships and countless Young Professional roles in the social sector of India.

About Organization: "Sarva" (meaning "all, everyone") and "SANDHI" (meaning "joining, coming together, or collaboration") unite to form Sarva SANDHI, an NGO in India registered as a Section 8 company under the Companies Act, 2013.

The Sarva SANDHI Foundation is dedicated to catalyzing the social development process in India through a Sustainable Approach to Networking and Developing Holistic Initiatives (SANDHI) for all. SSF collaborates closely with youths to build their social leadership to increase their awareness, participation, and ownership in the social development process in India.

Features of SAMARTH Fellowship Program 2024-25:

• Nature of Fellowship: Part-time, Virtual-remote based engagement
• Batch size: 30 SAMARTH Fellows
• Fellowship Period: 9-months
• Time Commitment: Minimum 10-12 hours per week
• Shortlisting Process: Online Application form submission; Longlisting; Check-in call; Personal Interviews; Fellowship Offers followed by Onboarding
• Open for: Young graduates & post-graduates, final-year students, young professionals, and others who are seeking guidance for either entering or growing in the social sector.

Eligibility Criteria: Any Indian youth who meets the following criteria can apply for this Fellowship:

• Must be passionate about working in the social development sector. 
• Must be an Indian citizen aged 27 years or younger. 
• Must have completed graduation in any field or be in the final year of their course.

Fellowship Costs: 

The SAMARTH Initiative aims to democratize access to fellowships in India by providing comprehensive-sponsored support services to youth participants. The program is designed to be accessible to individuals from tribal, rural, and semi-urban areas across India, with no costs incurred by fellows. All the fellowship expenses, including tuition fees, resources, mentorship, training events, and related costs, are solely covered by SSF. However, fellows do not receive monthly stipends during their 9-month journey.

Deadline: The Fellowship application is live from March 30th, 2024, and submissions are accepted till April 21st, 2024.

Note: The batch size of the SAMATH Fellowship's second cohort is 30 fellows, with early applicants prioritized for review and offers. Selection is first-come, first-served.
