Position Summary: Communications Lead

We are looking for a Lead to join our Communications Team and help build the presence of Mantra4Change across channels and forums. In this position, you will play a key role in promoting our organization through engaging social media activities, visual communication (video blogs, and infographics), and media engagements. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

  1. Content Creation:
  • Create engaging and informative content for Mantra4Change’s various communication channels, including but not limited to social media, website, newsletters, blogs, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and generate content ideas that align with our organization's goals and target audience.
  • Collaborate with the design lead to create visually appealing content that complements written materials.

2. Website Management:

  • Ensure the organization's website is up-to-date, visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
  • Regularly update website content, employee section, and event information to reflect current activities and initiatives by Mantra4Change.

3. Media Relations:

  • Build and nurture relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets to enhance our organization's visibility.
  • Draft and distribute press releases and media pitches to promote our key initiatives and events.

4. Event Coordination

  • Coordinate and plan organization-hosted events, online or in-person, ensuring seamless execution and a memorable experience for participants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams/organizations to organize events that align with Mantra4Change’s mission and vision. 

Eligibility

● Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree acquired from an accredited college or university. 

● A degree in Communication/Journalism/English Literature is preferred 

● 3+ years of experience in Marketing/Media/Communication is required 

 

Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Remuneration: 7,00,000 LPA - 8,00,000 LPA
