Empowering women through entrepreneurship, Anokha Dhaaga, is a woman centric micro-enterprise initiative for improving the socio-economic status and providing sustainable livelihoods opportunity to poor rural women in Tata Power Community Development Trust’s project locations. Though Anokha Dhaaga is a multi-location multi-product program, in Lonavala, the program focuses on garment making enterprises having three production centres in the vicinity.

After being initiated in 2015, Anokha Dhaaga has taken a number of steps towards creating an identity for itself and for the hundreds of women it supports. ACCESS has joined hands with Tata Power Community Development Trust (TPCDT) to carry this effort forward. At present Anokha Dhaaga is connected to various avenues for marketing its products in both B2B & B2C market segments. The aim of providing women engaged with Anokha Dhaaga, an aspirational sustainable income can be achieved if Anokha Dhaaga can become a bigger brand and market its products to a larger consumer base.

Position Summary:
In this context, ACCESS is inviting applications from self-driven professionals who are interested to take on the role of Project Manager and delivering against the objectives of the project. The Project Manager will be responsible for timely deliverables of the project in the designated area.

Responsibilities:
• Planning, Monitoring, Implementation and Reporting of the project with ACCESS and TPCDT Team.
• Ensure the development of information and promotional materials.
• Ensure MIS, Documentation and Presentation of the project.
• Ensure meeting project targets in a timely manner.
• Coordinate Marketing, branding, packaging and sale of products made by the women beneficiaries with local markets and other domestic markets.
• Liaison if required with CSR partner/s, Govt. departments, other development agencies, local panchayats and other institutions for meeting the project requirement.
• Link the beneficiaries to government schemes especially insurance and other similar benefits.
• Responsible for backward and forward linkage of the entrepreneurs.
• Brand building of the social enterprise’s products.

Education & Experience:

Preferably postgraduate in a relevant field, or a management graduate with at least 7 years’ experience of working in the field of women empowerment/crafts/non-farm livelihood activities, especially marketing.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Excellent planning, coordination, marketing and reporting skills.
2. Strong communication and effective interpersonal skills.
3. Business knowledge and awareness about the trends in the overall textile market scenario.
4. Self-motivated, ability to flourish with minimal guidance, able to handle uncertainties.
5. Knowledge and ability to handle billing, challan, tax implications (GST & others), returns, banking procedures pertaining to the business.

Travel Requirement
As and when the project demands. Mainly for project activities and marketing related requirements.

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is commensurate to industry standards and will be determined based upon experience set of the candidate and the HR policies of the organization.
