Job Description - Relationship Manager
Department - iVolunteer Centers
Designation- Relationship Manager
Location - Hyderabad (Willing to travel to southern regions as per requirement)
Purpose of the Role
To create and manage relationships with all stakeholders - volunteers,
NGOs, and assist the Regional Manager/Sr. Relationship Manager with
corporate engagements.

Role & Responsibilities
1. NGO Partners
• To research NGOs and build a credible network of NGO
partners
• To understand the need of the NGOs and devise ways to get
appropriate volunteers to meet those needs
• To service NGOs with suitable volunteer placements
• To scope volunteer requirements and plan volunteering
activities
• To document & analyze volunteer placement at each partner on
the inhouse cloud database
2. Impact Projects:
• To identify and implement ’Impact Projects
• To support nonprofits/ NGOs and provide them solutions
through the impact projects on different domains namely:
HR, Marketing,Communication, and IT
• To create and constantly maintain a database of active
volunteers to service Impact Projects
• To match volunteer skills with the requirements of an Impact
Project.
4. Corporate Engagements
• To support the Senior Leaders and the team involved in pitching for
corporate volunteering initiatives and assist in implementation.
• To liaise with various vendors, and negotiate the best price possible for
products and services that may be required in implementing an employee
volunteering program
• To assist and follow up regularly and timely order to sign up with
corporates for employee volunteering initiatives
• To ensure smooth delivery of on-ground OR Virtual employee
volunteering program
• Create and share timely project details and reports related to the
program.
5. Volunteers
• To conduct volunteer orientation sessions
• To maintain and update the volunteer database from time to time.
• To help volunteers find suitable volunteering opportunities through
various initiatives such as Impact Projects, Whiteboard, and other
initiatives
• To be responsible for quality volunteering services to individuals
• To organize and execute events and other promotional activities aimed at increasing volunteer registrations, recognition of volunteering, and brand building with all the stakeholders
• To prospect, initiate and engage individual Volunteers in productive
associations
• To build a formal/informal setup to get new volunteers through the
existing volunteers
6. Managing Educational Institute Relations:
• Proactively promote volunteering in institutes
• Build a formal/informal setup in colleges to get newvolunteers every
year through the existing volunteers
• Create an iVolunteer identity/brand in the institutes
• Generate curiosity to explore rural/real India
• Analysis and Documentation – what works or does not work ina
particular type of college, state, and so on
7. Other:
• Identify the training needs of the NGO, find trainers, and organize training
sessions on various key topics related to Volunteer Management
• To adhere to the systems and processes of the organization at all times
• To best represent the organization at all times
• To maintain proper documentation and filing systems (paper &
electronic) required and ensure documents are in order and updated
• Connect with key stakeholders – NGO heads, Project heads, School
Principals, Local Police, and Local political leaders for permissions for
various volunteering activities as and when required.
• To carry out additional duties and responsibilities from time totime
• Assisting with activities aimed at proactively promoting volunteering and brand building viz. Sharing pictures.
• Volunteer and NGO feedback, Success stories – Case studies,Newsletter
• Work with the larger team as and when needed
• Develop periodic plans
• Initiating innovative activities to grow the portfolio of
iVolunteer activities
• Assisting on other iVolunteer projects as required
• Contributing to the overall mission of iVolunteer of the
volunteer program
Authorities delegated to this position
• To lead the center as required under the guidance of the
supervisor.
• To conduct Active Citizenship activities every month
• To build and manage relationships with volunteer NGOs,
corporate partners, and other key stakeholders
• To sign off NGO contracts in case of the absence of a
Regional Manager/Sr Relationship Manager
Job specification
Qualifications Essential:
1) Graduate from any stream with 2-4 years of work experience in the
social sector
2) Some experience and knowledge of Volunteer Management
Preferred: (Though not essential) MSW or equivalent with at
least 2-4 years of relevantexperience

Other information: Elementary PowerPoint, Excel, with excellent communication skills
written and verbal in English and fluency in the local language.
The Candidate should be willing to travel to Bangalore, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam,
and other places within Andhra Pradesh, Telangana as and when required.
